Our fun and closely-knit Parks and Recreation Department is looking for a new team member. The Town of Kennebunkport is seeking applicants for the Parks & Recreation Programmer position. Desirable candidates are outgoing, enthusiastic, and positive, with a passion for recreational activities and youth programs. Under the guidance of the Director of Parks and Recreation, the Programmer will design, organize, implement, and supervise a wide variety of recreational activities, special events, and programs independently or in collaboration with the department staff. 

A bachelor’s degree in recreation or a related subject and one to three years of progressively responsible experience in a municipal or private recreation position or any equivalent combination of education and experience is desired. The position is 40 hours a week, with a $28-32 hourly wage depending on qualifications. Flexible hours are required for the afternoon, evening, and some weekend work. The Town of Kennebunkport is an equal opportunity employer with a competitive benefits package.
