The Parks and Recreation Department of the Town of Brunswick seeks candidates for a part-time Recreation Program Aide position.
The ideal candidate will have proven and demonstrated supervisory skills and strong customer service background. Additional requirements include strong computer skills; attention to detail; excellent communication skills; ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment; provides a positive and helpful attitude while working with the public. This position is primarily responsible for assisting the program lead or instructor with implementing an assigned program. Duties could include; creating practice and game schedules, passing out equipment, setting up game day facilities, coaching or instructing a specific sport, officiating a game, running score clock, working concessions, collecting fees, assist supervising spectators and participants within the facility, and basic facility cleanliness as required. Program oversight would include youth sports, youth enrichment, adult sports leagues, and family events.
This position will have a starting pay rate of $18.00-$20.00 per hour. This position is part-time and will work an average of 15–19 hours a work. Work shifts would be primarily weekday evenings and weekends.
