Town of Enfield - Public Works – Seasonal Winter Laborer

The Town of Enfield is currently accepting applications for a seasonal winter, per diem Public Works Laborer.  The hired individual will be responsible for operating plow trucks and other winter maintenance equipment. The ideal candidate will have experience clearing snow with a dump truck – plow and wing, one ton dump with sander and plow, loader, and shovel.

This position will run approximately December through April and will be part of an on-call team that responds to winter storm events. The ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays is a must, pending weather events and department need. This position works under the direction of the Public Works Foreman, within the general supervision of the Town Manager.

The Town of Enfield offers competitive pay (up to $30/hr) for this seasonal, on call, as needed position. The ability to pass a background check, DOT physical and drug test is a must. A Commercial Driver’s License (Class B) is required.
