The Town of Sebago seeks a talented individual to oversee our parks and recreation programs.  This is a full-time position at an annual salary of $52.500 is contingent on Annual Town Meeitng approval on June 18, 2024.  Experinece in coording various athletic programs as well as working with a recreation committee would be helpful.  Resumes and letters of interest may be sent on or before June 15th, 2024 to townmanager@townofsebago.org or mailed to Town of Sebago, 406 Bridgton Road, Sebago, ME 04029.

The Recreation Director is a department head level position reporting to the town manager responsible for designing, organizing, implementing, and supervising a wide variety of recreational and educational activities, special events, programs and da-to-day o[eration of the department and to ensure that the department is running effectively.  Work is performed during normal office hours and during evenings and weekends as required.  

Required Education/Experience:  Bachelor's degree in Recreation or Leisure Service Management or related field from an accredited college or university.  Five (5) years experience in municipal parks and recreation management.  A background of progressively responsible supervisory positions; or any equivalent combination of education and experience which demonstrates possession of the necessary knowledge, skills and abilites.
