The Kennebunk Police Department is accepting applications for Seasonal Community Service Officers. These seasonal positions run from mid-June through Labor Day. The schedule for these positions vary as needed and may include day and evening hours.

Community Service Officers monitor and control traffic and parking in the busiest spots in Town throughout the summer. Essential job functions of this position include the ability to be friendly and courteous in all interactions with the public, and to promote a positive image of the Town of Kennebunk and its Police Department.

 

Position Requirements

  • 17 years of age or older;
  • High School Diploma or equivalent;
  • Valid Driver's License;
  • Successful completion of a background check and pre-employment physical;
  • Prior work experience in a customer service related industry or organization preferred;
  • Any equivalent combination of training and experience that provides the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities may be considered.

 

Pay

This is an hourly, non-exempt, seasonal position with a starting wage of $20.00/hour.
