The Town of Kennebunk Public Services Department, Parks and Facilities Division, is currently accepting applications for Seasonal Maintenance Workers to assist with road maintenance projects and the upkeep of Town parks. Employment is conditional on the successful completion of a pre-employment physical.
These seasonal positions run through the summer working Monday - Friday from 7am to 3pm with the option to change to four, 10-hour days Monday – Thursday to match the full-time crew schedule during the summer.
Position Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required;
- Must be at least 18 years of age;
- Experience operating lawn mowers, gardening tools, small and medium power equipment preferred;
- Experience performing manual labor that requires lifting of heavy objects of 50-75 lbs. and occasionally up to 100 lbs.; or
- Any equivalent combination of knowledge, skills, abilities, and work experience may be considered.
Pay
This is an hourly, non-exempt, non-union, seasonal position with a pay rate of $20.00/hour.
