GENERAL INFORMATION:

Status:            Full-Time/Temporary 

Hours:            40 hours/week

Pay:                $21.43/hour

SUMMARY: City of Lewiston Municipal Garage is looking for individuals with entry-level mechanics knowledge to perform light vehicle repair and service work on the City’s wide range of vehicles and equipment. 

REQUIREMENTS: 

• Valid driver’s license (commercial driver’s license not required)
• Some experience with light vehicle maintenance and repairs
• Some experience/education in technical and/or vocational training (including high school regional technical center courses!)
• Desire to learn and gain PAID hands-on experience with various levels of vehicle mechanics and equipment servicing
