The Town of Wiscasset is seeking applications from qualified individuals for the full time position of Town Mechanic reporting to the Road Commissioner/Public Works Director. The Town Mechanic performs the maintenance and repairs of all Town owned vehicles and equipment. This is a union position, includes driving trucks and equipment, and is subject to mandatory call-out for snow plowing and emergencies.

A clean driving record, a valid Class B license with air brake endorsement, and the ability to obtain a state inspection license within six months of hire are required.
