The Town of Ashland is accepting applications for a full-time Police Officer. Applicant must have a high school diploma, 200-hour police course certificate (or be in the process of obtaining the Law Enforcement Pre-Service certificate) and will be required to pass the Maine Criminal Justice Academy prescribed physical aptitude test, oral examinations, physical and psychological examination and criminal background check, including a polygraph examination.  Applicant must hold a valid Maine driver’s license and have an excellent driving record.  Any of the following would be a plus:  Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice, Academy Blue Pin or law enforcement experience.

This is a full-time hourly position that offers competitive wage with a full benefits package.  This position will remain open until a suitable candidate can be hired.
