Wastewater Laborer / Assistant Operator

The Town of Dover-Foxcroft has an opening for the fulltime position for Wastewater Laborer / Assistant Operator.  Under direction of the Plant Manager, the duties include a wide variety of manual labor tasks, and laboratory tests in conjunction with the routine maintenance, repair, and operation of the wastewater collection and treatment facilities.

The successful candidate must have a high school diploma or equivalent. Have a knowledge of common tools and materials used in maintenance activities, basic operation and maintenance of electric and gasoline motors.  Ability to understand oral and written instructions and rough work diagrams. We are looking for someone that can work effectively with other Town employees as well as independently.
