The Town of Freeport is seeking a full-time Buildings & Grounds Worker to join our team at Public Works. This position includes all indoor and outdoor custodial and grounds maintenance work including, but not limited to: mopping floors, scrubbing, dusting and general cleaning activities of Town Buildings, mowing, raking, weed whacking, trash pick-up, snow removal, landscaping, painting, and other outdoor maintenance activities. Must be able to perform heavy physical labor for extended hours in all weather conditions. Must possess a valid Maine Driver’s license and be 18 years old.

Freeport is an exceptional place to work and live. The regular schedule for this position will be Tuesday – Saturday including holiday work and occasional overtime. The Town offers a competitive benefits package and a starting wage of $20.33/hour. The successful candidate must pass a pre-employment physical.
