Town of Freeport Equipment Operator/Truck Driver

The Freeport Public Works Department has an opening for a full time Equipment Operator/Truck Driver position. Qualified candidates MUST have experience with the operation of dump trucks, backhoes, front end loaders and related motorized equipment.  Experience in snow plowing operations and a mechanical background a plus.  Maine Drivers License CDL class B endorsement is required.  Class A is preferred. 

The Town offers a competitive pay and benefits package based on qualifications and experience. Our work schedule is Monday through Thursday from 6:00 am to 4:30 pm. Must be available for additional hours during wintertime operations.

Successful candidate must pass a pre-employment physical, which includes an alcohol and drug screening test.
