The Town of Freeport is seeking a full-time Transfer Station Attendant to join our friendly, customer-service focused team. 

We are seeking individuals that are motivated self-starters who can work independently as well as with a team. The successful candidate will be friendly and approachable with exceptional customer service skills. Applicants must be at least 18 years of age with a high school diploma or equivalent credential. Previous experience in municipal Transfer Station/Recycling Center services is preferred.

This vacancy is for a 32 hour/week position at $20.64 per hour. The Town offers a generous benefit package that includes Medical, Dental, Short-Term Disability and Life Insurance, as well as Retirement, Vacation, and Sick Leave.
