Summer Day Camp Counselors

The Town of Lisbon’s Parks and Recreation Department is seeking applicants who are creative, energetic, caring, and responsible to work 20-40 hours per week in a seven-week seasonal summer day camp program.  The program consists of children who are entering K-8th grade.  Applicants are responsible for the supervision and planning of on and off-site activities.  Individuals are required to be available from June to August between the hours of 8:00 am and 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday.  Mandatory training will be required prior to the first official day of camp. 

REQUIREMENTS OF WORK
 

• Ability to communicate with children, staff, and parents effectively. 
• Basic knowledge of children’s developmental needs. 
• First Aid/CPR certification or willingness to obtain certification.

This is a seasonal position and hourly wage will be $15.00 and up based on experience
Mandatory training will be required to attend: Week of June 17th, 8 am-4 pm
