Building & Grounds Laborer

The Town of New Gloucester, Maine is accepting applications for a full-time Building & Grounds Laborer. This position’s responsibility includes buildings & grounds maintenance, snow plowing/salting/sanding, and other related public works duties.  Applicants must possess a valid driver’s license, (preference may be given to Class B but not required), and have experience in maintenance of buildings and grounds tasks such as carpentry, mowing, and painting.  Applicants must pass a pre-employment physical.

A generous benefit package is available for this position including 401K or Maine State Retirement, Vacation, Sick time, Personal Days and Holidays.  Hourly rate for this position is $23.00.
