The Town of St. Albans is currently seeking qualified applicants for the full- time position of Truck Driver and Laborer for the Public Works Department. The Department consists of the Road Commissioner and two laborers whose responsibilities consist of maintaining the roads of St. Albans during the summer and winter months. Duties include, but not limited to operating light to heavy trucks with sanders, plowing, snow removal, road maintenance such as culverts, patching, building roads, and other general duties as required. General knowledge on vehicle repair and preventative maintenance is preferred. Applicant must possess a valid Class B State of Maine driver's license with the proper endorsements; as well as experience driving a plow truck with wing attachment.
