Truck Driver/Laborer
The Town of Topsham, Maine is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Public Works
Department Driver/Laborer. The successful candidate must: possess a Maine Class B License, or
be able to obtain one within 6 months; have considerable experience driving trucks; operating
heavy equipment; have experience plowing; have experience with seasonal construction work;
possess a clean driving record and work record. All CDL drivers are subject to routine drug and
alcohol testing.
Topsham offers a competitive wage and benefit package as governed by collective bargaining
agreements. Entry-level pay is $22.78 per hour with an ADDITIONAL $2.00 per hour CDL
stipend for a valid CDL license for Class B or higher. Application packages, including cover
