The Town of Winthrop Public Works Department is seeking a truck driver to join our customer-focused team. If you have a strong work ethic, and are friendly and approachable, we welcome you to apply.

This full-time union position is 40 hours per week with mandatory weather-related and/or seasonal overtime. The starting rate of pay is $21.91 - $26.64, depending on skills and experience. This employee must possess and maintain a valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL). Employees who possess a Class A CDL will receive an additional $1/hr. The Town offers a generous benefits package including 13 paid holidays, paid time off, Maine State Retirement, and health (family coverage available), dental and disability insurance, ability to earn comp time and a summer work schedule of four 10-hr work days with three day weekends.
