City of Augusta-Truck Driver II – CDL Class B

Qualified candidates must be skilled in hauling construction and related materials, plow and sand during snow/ice emergencies, and do some operation of heavy equipment.  The ability to work with a team to perform skilled labor as necessary to assist with Public Works operations is also required.

Monday thru Friday, 7:00 am – 3:30 pm.  However, candidates must have the ability to work non-standard hours for snow removal operations, city functions or in an emergency.

Requirements

Qualified candidates will possess a valid Maine Commercial Class A/B Driver License.  One (1) year of experience preferred in heavy truck operation, snow plow and snow haul operations is strongly desired.

Pay Scale

This is a full-time, non-exempt, union position with a comprehensive benefits package including: medical insurance, a pension, and generous paid time off.

Pay range AFSCME 93 B4: $21.92 to $27.40 per hour.
