Truck Driver/ Laborer

The Town of Livermore Falls is seeking a Truck Driver/Laborer in its Public Works Department. The position requires manual labor/Operation of light and heavy trucks and motorized equipment used for road construction and repair, and driving/operating plow truck and other related equipment during snow and ice removal.  Employee must be willing to learn any and all safety requirements for traffic control, snow removal with motorized equipment and take personal responsibility for the safety of themselves, and co-workers. Employee must be willing to work extensive overtime in winter weather, or other emergencies.  All work is performed under the direction of the Public Works Foreman.

Starting wage is 23.00 - 25.70 depending on experience and qualifications.  Interested applicants must be at least 18 years of age and possess a valid Class B License.  Candidates will be subject to all CDL Drug & Alcohol testing required by Federal Law. Applicants must be able to pass the interview process, physical examination, and background investigation.
