The Town of Brunswick Public Works Department seeks exceptional candidates for the position of Truck Driver/Operator.
This position operates all vehicles and light/heavy equipment used in carrying out the department’s responsibilities, including the repair, maintenance, and construction of roads and stormwater systems, and plowing and treating roads and sidewalks.
This is a union position (Teamsters Union Local #340) that consists of 40 hours per week, Monday - Thursday, 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Overtime will be required during winter snow removal operations.
The preferred candidate will have at least one year of experience in a similar work environment, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Class B commercial driver’s license, or the ability to obtain one within 18 months of hire, is required.

The starting hourly pay rate is $22.83 - 28.97, depending on experience and qualifications. The Department highly considers prior experience when determining the starting pay rate.
