Maine Women Leading Government is currently accepting applications for membership. MWLG was founded to meet the unique professional development and networking needs of women in local government—needs that too often go unmet in traditional organizations. Together, we are breaking barriers, fostering opportunity, and creating a community where women lead and thrive. As a member, you will have access to leadership and skill-building workshops; mentorship opportunities; networking luncheons and events across the state; sponsored sessions at municipal conferences; and a growing community of peers and allies. Membership is open to anyone working in or aspiring to a career in public service—whether you’re a student, early-career professional, seasoned leader, or simply passionate about making government more inclusive.
