October Training Opportunities for Police Professionals

The Maine Department of Public Safety, Maine Chiefs of Police, Maine Sheriffs Association, U.S. Attorney’s Office, District of Maine and the International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP) are pleased to offer three individual no-cost resilience training opportunities to police professionals in Maine between October 28 and October 31, 2024 . The VALOR Officer Resilience Training Program strengthens participants’ mental and physical wellness by teaching critical mind, energy, and connection skills. Classes will be offered in Houlton, Portland and Auburn. Participants will learn four critical skills to navigate adversity and thrive in the face of challenges, benefiting their personal and professional lives, and positively affecting relationships with family, colleagues, and community members. Hosted by Maine Department of Public Safety, Maine Chiefs of Police, Maine Sheriffs Association, U.S. Attorney’s Office, District of Maine.
