The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency is accepting applications for planning assistance to help municipalities bring together residents to select strategies to grow the local outdoor recreation economy. Eligible applicants include local governments, Tribes, and nonprofit organizations, with special consideration given to small towns and rural communities, as well as communities located in the northern border region of Maine, Vermont, New Hampshire, and New York.
