So, now it’s settled, right? Maine will join a handful of states where recreational and medical use of marijuana are legal. If only it were that simple. The federal government plays a role too, and local officials now are presented with a dizzying array of legal and economic decisions. This special “off the news” training event will clear the air as much as possible. This course applies to the Maine Town, City and County Management Association Certification Program as 5 credits in the Legal category.
