Kennebunk Parks & Recreation - Room Coordinator, Just for Kids Club (school year)

The Town of Kennebunk is accepting applications for a part-time, seasonal Room Coordinator for the Just for Kids Club for elementary grades K-5. The Room Coordinator is a September through June position.  The work schedule follows the school year daily calendar, and the work hours are 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm, Monday through Friday.The Room Coordinator’s primary responsibilities are the daily supervision of the children participating in the Just for Kids Club, planning activities, and promoting participant involvement in activities.

Position Requirements

(A) Past experience supervising children required. (B) Ability to motivate children. (C) Exhibit good communication skills.  (D) Work well in a team environment and adaptable to change. (E) Ability to be creative and have a positive work attitude. (F) Ability to work independently and use good judgment. (F) Any equivalent combination of training and experience that provides the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities may be considered.

Pay rate for the position is $12.25/hour.
