Town Clerk - Garland
The Town of Garland Maine is seeking a responsive and energetic candidate for the position of Town Clerk. This is a 32+ hour per week position with a four-day work week of Tuesday through Friday.
The Town Clerk is responsible for the local and state elections, dog licensing and vital records. Other duties include motor vehicle registrations, sale of hunting and fishing licenses, inland fisheries registrations, tax collections, along with other various municipal reports and duties.
Computer experience, solid organizational and communication skills are a must.
The Town of Garland uses the TRIO Software system and Microsoft Office 365.
The successful candidate will be a highly motivated professional who enjoys working with the public and who has excellent writing, public presentation, and communication skills.
The ideal candidate will have municipal experience, however candidates with comparable experience and skill sets are encouraged to apply.
