Water & Wastewater Treatment Facility Manager

The Town of Howland is seeking an individual who will be responsible for the practical, technical and administrative operations of Howland’s water and waste water treatment facility. Employee of this class includes the daily safe, efficient and conforming operations of the water filtration and waste water treatment facilities, daily operations of the plant and call-out for emergencies. Work involves ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines reporting test results and budget administration. Employee will also be responsible for daily operations and emergencies to designated pump station in Howland and Enfield. This is a full time 40-hour position plus emergency call outs. The ideal candidate will process Grade 2 Biological Wastewater Treatment License, a Grade 2 water Distribution License, a Grade 2 Water Treatment Operators License and experience  in the operation of a waste water treatment facility. Experience may be substituted for licenses with probationary requirements of obtaining the proper licenses.
