ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT - CODE - CITY OF SACO

GENERAL

The City of Saco’s Code Enforcement Department is actively recruiting for an Administrative Assistant.  If you are looking for a great team to be apart of and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, then this is the position for you!

SUMMARY

Under direct supervision of the Director of Code Enforcement Officer (CEO), the Administrative Assistant performs a variety of administrative and secretarial tasks in support of the daily function of the CODE Department.  Responsibilities of the Administrative Assistant include providing support to the CEO, Assistant and Associate Code Enforcement Officers with assistance in daily office needs. In addition to typing, filing and scheduling appointments, Assistant prepares timesheets for payroll processing, coordination of meetings and conferences, obtains supplies, works on special projects as requested by the CEO.

Ability to work with diverse groups of residents, elected officials, directors and City employees in a professional manner.  Independent judgment is required to plan, prioritize, and organize diversified workloads, recommends changes in office practices or procedures.
