The Town of Richmond is seeking innovative, community-oriented candidates for the position of Patrol Officer. Qualified applicants must have a high school diploma or equivalent, be of sound physical and mental health, and hold a valid Maine driver’s license. In addition, selected candidates may be required to successfully navigate an oral board interview, a Chief’s interview, background investigation, psychological evaluation, medical assessment, and a polygraph examination.

Pay rate commensurate with experience a generous benefit package including shift differential along with paid vacation, holiday, sick, overtime and personal days; health, dental and income protection for employee and/or family coverage, options are available. This position is covered by the Town’s agreement with the Richmond Employees Association.
