The City of Brewer is seeking an organized, motivated, team focused individual to fill the full-time Laboratory and Process Control Manager position with the Brewer Water Pollution Control Facility. This department is a positive, dynamic workplace with highly dedicated crew members who strive for daily service excellence.
This position is responsible for performing all laboratory analysis, recordkeeping and to exercise direct supervision over the facility daily process control.
This successful candidate must train facility operators on proper lab analysis procedures, maintain and revise all laboratory operational and safety procedures, manage the Laboratory QA/QC Program. A person in this position must have excellent computer and communication skills and willingness to work in a team environment.
They must have five years of laboratory experience, a minimum of a Grade 3 Maine Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator Certification, two years experience performing process control and DMR required laboratory testing, experience working at an activated sludge wastewater facility and have a NEWEA Wastewater Laboratory Analyst Certification.
