City of Caribou Fire and Ambulance Department

The City of Caribou, Fire and Ambulance Department, is seeking highly motivated and customer service minded individual to join our team of public safety professionals. We respond to over 2,500 calls for service annually providing advanced life support EMS treatment & transport as well as full-service fire suppression, rescue and education services to the citizens and visitors to our community. We are currently accepting applications for an immediate opening in a Firefighter/Paramedic position.

Paramedic Firefighters & Firefighter/EMTs

Our full-time staff is covered under a collective bargaining agreement which includes a competitive wage rate and an excellent benefits package including a 25 year, no age limit, retirement plan.

Minimum requirements include: HS diploma or GED equivalent; Interior Structural Firefighter Certification or equivalent - Firefighter I & II preferred; completion of State certified AVOC/EVOC class preferred; EMT-B license (EMT-P preferred). Application period open till filled.
