Program Coordinator - Town of Kennebunkport

The Town of Kennebunkport is seeking applicants for the position of Parks & Recreation Program Coordinator. Desirable candidates are outgoing, enthusiastic, and positive, with a passion for recreational activities and youth programs. Under the direction of the Director of Parks and Recreation, the Program Coordinator will design, organize, implement, and supervise a wide variety of recreational activities, special events, and programs independently or in collaboration with the Director, Assistant Director, and other department staff. A bachelor’s degree in recreation or a related subject, and one to three years of progressively responsible experience in a municipal or private recreation position, or any equivalent combination of education and experience is desired. The position is 40 hours a week, with a $18-22 hourly wage depending on qualifications and experience. Flexible hours are required for afternoon, evening, and some weekend work.
