ASSESSING CLERK
P/T (W-F 8am-4pm)

The Town of Wells is currently seeking a part-time Assessing Clerk to provide a range of administrative, computer, customer service and clerical services to the Town’s Assessing Department. Applicants should have excellent communication, organizational and customer service skills. Position requires proficiency in the use of Word and Excel, a high degree of accuracy and strong attention to detail. Relevant office experience serving the public, familiarity with principles of property appraisal and assessment, knowledge of Vision software and GIS, are a plus.  Starting hourly wage is $17.40/hr., ($18.01 effective July 1, 2021) and offers pro-rated p/t employee benefits.  

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

High School Diploma or equivalent required; one (1) to three (3) years previous experience working with the public in an office environment desired; or any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the knowledge, skills and abilities required.
