The Town of Scarborough’s Community Services Department is seeking applicants for a part-time Camera/Board Operator. This position oversees the airing and taping of official town meetings for the Scarborough Community Access Television Channel. This position is responsible for setting up and videotaping public municipal meetings and other town business for live broadcast over public access stations as well as the opportunity to produce other content that would be of interest/pertinence to residents of Scarborough.
Position requirements: Must be at least 18 years old. Must deal effectively with others, both fellow employees and the public. Must be able to work flexible hours including weeknights. Hours range from 4:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. depending on the monthly schedule (typically no later than 11:00 p.m.). Hours will vary from week to week depending on scheduled community meetings. Applicants must also have camera and mixing board experience or experience working in a television studio.
