FULL-TIME FINANCE ASSISTANT
The Town of Lisbon is accepting applications for the position of Finance Assistant. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of administrative, billing, and financial functions associated with the day-to-day operations of the Lisbon Finance Department, including billing clerk coverage as necessary. Candidates should possess excellent organizational, computer, and communications skills. Candidates should also possess proficient knowledge and ability to use accounting principles, methods and procedures in working with numerous accounts. Employee’s work is performed under the supervision of the Finance Director.
Duties require knowledge of accounting and administration that is equivalent to the completion of a 2 year college Associates Degree in Accounting or Finance-related field or at least 3 years of related work experience. Wages are negotiable based on experience. The Town of Lisbon offers an excellent benefits package.
