Deputy Town Clerk - Freeport
Freeport is seeking candidates for a full time (37.5 hours per week) Deputy Town Clerk. Applicants should have the ability to read and interpret regulations, have strong computer skills, be able to attend to details and prepare and maintain complex clerical records. The Clerk’s Office manages Elections, Licensing, Vital records and prepares all Town Council Agenda and documents.
Preference will be given to a candidate with prior Municipal or other government experience; who is a Maine Certified Clerk or Certified Municipal Clerk; is or can become a Notary Public and Dedimus Justice; or has equivalent related work experience.
