The Town of Pittsfield is accepting applications to fill the position of Deputy Treasurer / Deputy Tax Collector. This is a full-time, 40 hour per week position. Primary responsibilities include performing and overseeing varied accounting assignments involving the application of bookkeeping skills for the complete set of municipal books and accounts. Work involves maintaining computerized and paper records of municipal accounts, the oversight of all expenditures and payment of bills, revenue tracking, tax processing and collection and processing of payroll.
