HR MANAGER/PAYROLL SPECIALIST- CITY OF ELLSWORTH

The City of Ellsworth, Maine has an opening for the position of Human Resources and Payroll Specialist. The responsibilities for this position includes accurately and timely processing of weekly payroll and payroll liabilities for all employees; setting up and maintaining  personnel and other employment files ensuring accuracy, compliance, and confidentiality; maintaining attendance and paid time off database ensuring accurate and timely reporting; assisting team members with payroll and benefit related questions; and overseeing day to day human resource management activities including the coordination of employee relations, employee benefits administration, workers’ compensation, maintaining standards as required by federal, state, and organizational regulations, policies and labor agreements, monitoring.
