Deputy Town Clerk / Deputy Treasurer

The Town of Hebron is accepting applications for a Full-Time Deputy Treasurer/Deputy Tax Collector. The duties for this position include the handling of Town funds, the collection of taxes, the issuance of vehicle registrations and town permits, and assisting the Board of Selectmen in organizing and maintaining Town files. Work will involve a variety of bookkeeping, data processing, cash management, and clerical functions. This position involves public contact and requires friendliness, tact, and diplomacy. The successful candidate will have excellent attention to detail and must also be bondable. Previous municipal experience with TRIO software is desirable, but not required. Training will be provided. This Full-time position includes 100 % paid Employee Health Benefits and Vacation.
