Courthouse Tower Preservation and Roofing

 

Sagadahoc County is seeking bids for the Courthouse Tower Preservation and Roofing Project. The Project consists of the preservation, repair, and water mitigation of the tower of the courthouse, as well as roofing on the tower and main building located at 752 High Street, Bath, Maine. Contractor shall follow the guidelines set forth by the Secretary of Interior’s Standards for the Treatment of Historic Properties.

Documents will be provided to prime bidders only; only complete sets of documents will be issued. Copies of Addenda will be emailed.

A 100% Performance Bond, separate 100% Labor and Material Payment Bond, and Insurance in a form acceptable to Owner will be required of the successful Bidder.

Owner will receive sealed lump sum bids until the bid time and date at the location given below. Owner will consider bids prepared in compliance with the Instructions to Bidders issued by Owner, and delivered as follows:

  1. Bid Date:  February 10, 2022.
  2. Bid Time:  3:30 p.m., local time.
  3. Location: County Administrator, Sagadahoc County, 752 High Street, Bath, Maine 04530.

Bids will be thereafter publicly opened and read aloud in the Commissioners’ Meeting Room.
