Resident Service Coordinator
Applications are currently being accepted for a full time Residential Service Coordinator.
The position is responsible for assisting Auburn Housing Authority tenants with obtaining the supportive services needed to work toward, achieve, and maintain personal and financial independence. The RSC works to enable management staff to better integrate human factors into property management including but not limited to outreach service planning, problem solving, intervention and advocacy by helping residents develop strategies to meet their individual needs. Must have the ability to create and be actively involved in all activities and recreations provided for both children and seniors in AHA buildings.
Two-year college degree with a major in social work required. Four-year college degree with a major in social work, social psychology or other acceptable area preferred. Must have experience working with children and seniors with mental health issue.
This position works 35 hours per week and the starting pay ranges from $20.85 – $26.50 based upon experience. Auburn Housing Authority has an excellent benefit package some of which include, health, dental, short-term disability, Maine State Retirement, 24 days Earned Benefit Time, and 12 paid holidays. AHA is also offering a $500 sign on bonus.
