Now Hiring New 40 Hour Firefighter/EMT
Fairfield Benton Emergency Services is a Combination Department based in Fairfield that covers 84 square miles of the towns of Fairfield and Benton. The Department responds to approximately 1500 E-9-1-1 fire and EMS calls per year, working 24-hour shifts. The Department does not transport patients, has a third-party ambulance service, and participates in area mutual aid.
Requirements:
- High School diploma
- Valid Maine driver’s license
- Valid Maine Certified EMT Basic license (Advanced or Paramedic preferred)
- 2+ years EMS experience preferred
- Firefighter FF1 (FF2 preferred)
- Pump Operator Certificate or willing to learn ASAP
- EVOC or AVOC or Class B CDL or willing to obtain certification ASAP
