The City of Auburn has a great opportunity for a highly skilled motivated individual to be a part of a dynamic team. The right candidate will be responsible for updating, improving and creating Geospatial database programs and solutions. This includes developing, managing and maintaining all components of the City’s geospatial database programs. Additionally, this person will work with Public Works to implement and maintain a City wide asset management program, work across all City departments to develop GIS solutions, and provide technical support to teams within the organization and to external customers, when required.
The successful candidate will have strong organizational and effective communication skills, along with the ability to track and follow multiple pieces of information through to completion. Additionally excellent interpersonal, problem solving, and team building skills are a must.
A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or related field and at least (two) 2 years’ experience, or a good combination of education and experience; strong organizational and effective communication skills and excellent team building and problem solving skills.
Additionally, the candidate must have a valid Maine’s Driver’s license or ability to obtain a Maine Driver’s license and have a good driving record.
Salary range for this position is $29.41 to $40.09 and is dependent upon experience and qualifications.
