Town of Berwick Human Resources Generalist
The Town of Berwick is accepting candidates for the full-time position of Human Resources Generalist.
The successful candidate will have excellent customer service and communication skills, ability to maintain confidentiality, excellent organizational and time management skills, and foster a professional, respectful work environment.
Under the general supervision of the Town Manager, the Human Resources Generalist performs a variety of administrative, technical, and professional activities related to the operation of the Town’s personnel systems including but not limited to onboarding employees, benefits administration, and recruitment. This position has access to sensitive personal, medical, and personnel information, and as an essential job function of the position is required to always maintain confidentiality. In addition, this position serves as the Wellness Coordinator.
- High school diploma or equivalent required with administrative course work
- Three (3) years’ related experience or any equivalent combination of education and experience
- Valid Maine Driver’s License
