NURSING UNIT ASSISTANT/ CNA TRAINING - Barron Center

The Barron Center, where kindness matters, has an opportunity to join a truly excellent, stable and dedicated professional Nursing team. The Unit Assistant is responsible for assisting the Nursing team by creating a homelike environment for our Residents. You will be supporting our Nursing team by providing services to assist Residents’ basic care needs within your scope of practice. Requirements:  Must complete and successfully become a C.N.A. within one year of completing the CNA course.  Successful candidates must pass a pre-employment physical exam. Offers of employment are contingent upon the completion of a satisfactory criminal background check. 

CEBA Union position – Grade 3M -Salary starting at $14.57/hour.  In addition to the standard rate of pay, the Barron Center is distributing an additional $5.00 for each hour worked anticipated to be paid until June 2023 for all employees. The Barron Center has received CARES ACT funding, through the State of Maine, which is intended to go back into the workforce to help with retaining and recruiting employees.
