ESSENTIAL TOOLS FOR LEADING IN A DIVERSE COMMUNITY
This new MMA workshop is designed to help participants jump-start inclusion efforts, lead positive change and build an inclusive workplace culture. Participants will be introduced to a framework that has several practical uses; learn why and how we develop bias; and in tandem practice a few essential skills needed to live, work, lead, and play in a diverse community. It’s experiential with activities and exercises sprinkled throughout.
About the Presenter:
Susan Gallant is one of Maine’s leading experts in the field of leadership development, coaching and consulting. She’s a graduate of Waterville High School, and currently based in Falmouth and Willimantic. Susan has a doctorate from Boston University; is the author of the book, The Mechanic Meets the Gardener; and, literally, has coached, consulted and trained groups around the world on this and other topics.
