Customer Service Representative II

Training for: Parks & Recreation

The Parks and Recreation Department of the Town of Brunswick is seeking candidates for a regular part-time Customer Service Representative II position.

The ideal candidate will have proven and demonstrated supervisory skills and strong customer service background. Additional requirements include strong computer skills; attention to detail; excellent communication skills; ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment; provides a positive and helpful attitude while working with the public. This position is primarily responsible for greeting and assisting customers at the Brunswick Recreation Center. Specific job duties will include greeting and assisting customers, assessing appropriate fees, registering participants in the department software system, answering phones, supervising spectators, and participants within the facility, assist with program equipment, facility setup, opening and closing facility and basic facility cleanliness as required. 

This position is regular part-time and will work a minimum of 20 hours a week, with the ability to go up to 34 hours a week. This position will work a flexible schedule with shifts varying within the following timeframes: Monday to Friday 6:00am-8:00pm, Saturday 7:00am-6:00pm, Sunday 10:00am-6:00pm.

This position will have a starting pay rate of $18.00-$18.94 per hour. This position is eligible for accrual of vacation, sick leave, holidays, and other benefits on a pro-rata basis proportionate to the benefits available to a regular full-time employee.
