IT Project Manager

Maine Public Employees Retirement System (MainePERS) seeks a Project Manager to join our IT department. This position is responsible for planning, implementing, and managing multiple ongoing and one-time IT projects of varying scope and subject matter. This position leads project teams, coordinates internal and external resources, manages project timelines, and serves as a liaison between the business and technical aspects of assigned projects. This position also supports the success of projects by ensuring the projects are completed on time and meet quality, budget, collaboration and other applicable expectations. 

This position is anticipated to be a 4-year limited duration position. 

Minimum Qualifications:  

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer or Information Science-related field.
  • At least three years of related experience required.
  • Proficient in MS Office suite
  • Must be proficient in Excel at the Intermediate level

 Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Master’s degree in Computer or Information Science-related field.

Salary: Begins at $84, 882 if annualized
