Lincoln Fire Department - Paramedic or Firefighter/Paramedic

Training for: Public Safety - EMS, Public Safety - Fire

The Lincoln Maine Fire Department is seeking licensed paramedics to join our ranks.

Lincoln is one of the busiest fire departments in Penobscot county with a combined call volume of approximately 2,000 calls per year. Firefighter/Paramedics will have the opportunity to rotate onto the engine; whereas Paramedics who do not wish to do fire operations will be assigned to an ambulance:

• First step wages waived; Starting pay is 27.78/HR and many more stipends available

• LAFF Local 3038

• 42-hour work: week (24 on, 24 off, 24 on, 5 days off)

• In house Quality Assurance

• On site gym access

• Maine State Retirement or ICMA retirement available with 6% match

• Training/Continuing Education Hours (CEHs) provided and/or paid for in house.

• Overtime opportunities with minimum 3-hour call-in. Recall stipends available for off-duty personnel.
